HEALTH GUARANTEE

Ziemer Labs offers you, the buyer, a Health Guarantee against any congenital defects and a 26 month guarantee on hips. To qualify for this guarantee you will be required to follow the procedure listed below:

To be covered for the Health Guarantee:

1. You will be required to have your new puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 5 calendar days of the sale.
You must inform your veterinarian to look for any congenital defects as well as exam the overall health of your puppy.
You will be required to return to Ziemer Labs, a health certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian stating the veterinarian's findings within 14 calendar days of purchase. Failure to have your puppy checked within 5 calendar days & returning the health certificate to Ziemer Labs, within 14 calendar days of purchase will make hip guarantee null & void. The Health Guarantee is null & void after the puppy has been with its new owners for over 5 calendar days, after this time we cannot control the puppy's environment.

2. If your vet finds a serious health problem (within the specified time frame) you must contact us immediately & provide a written description of the health problem from your vet. All associated cost, including vet fees & transportation are all your responsibility.

3. If your vet does find a serious health problem within the 5 calandar days you may return the puppy with the AKC papers & receive a replacement puppy out of the next available litter of comparable breeding.

To be covered by our 26 month Hip Guarantee:

1. The puppy/dog must be owned by the original buyer. (*Certain circumstances are specified below)

2. You must have returned a health certificate to Ziemer Labs from a licensed veterinarian within 14 calendar days of purchase.

3. The puppy/dog has not been bred.

4. The puppy/dog is not overweight , over exercised, nor has done an excessive amount of jumping up or down, this can cause bone spurs and the dog will not be able to be evaluated by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) for certification.

5. The puppy has been consistently fed high quality, meat based protein, balanced dry dog food.

6. The dog must not be over 26 months old in age.

7. Hip evaluation must come from the OFA & must show that the hips are moderate to severely dysplastic. All costs for the evaluation & treatment are the sole responsibility of you, the buyer.

Should your pet be deemed moderate to severely dysplastic, you, the buyer have these options:

1. You may return the dog back to Ziemer Labs, at your own costs, with AKC papers & sign ownership back to Ziemer Labs: receive another puppy from Ziemer Labs out of our next available litter of comparable breeding.

2. You may choose to keep your dog. We will require you to spay/neuter your dog with the proper medical papers proving the procedure has been done & sent to Ziemer Labs within the week of the procedure before we will refund HALF of the purchase price back to you.

*If you decide to get rid of your new puppy WITHIN the 26 months of ORIGINAL purchase date:

We, Ziemer Labs, would like the opportunity to get the dog back. If we cannot take the pup back at that time & you found another home for the pup within the 26 months of the original purchase date, Ziemer Labs can CONTINUE the same Health Guarantee & offer that to the 3rd party for a specific amount (prices will vary depending on that age of the dog at the time of changing ownerships.)
